Just In: Oyo Governor Makinde Unveils ₦892bn 2026 Budget, Prioritises Infrastructure and Education

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde, on Monday, presented a budget estimate of Eight hundred and ninety-one billion, nine hundred and eighty-five million, seventy-four thousand, four hundred and eighty naira, seventy-nine kobo (N 891,985,074,480.79) for the 2026 financial year before the State House of Assembly.

 

Makinde, who tagged the fiscal proposal as the Budget of Economic Expansion, said the effort is to build on the 2025 budget.

According to him, the budget of Economic Expansion means converting stability into opportunity.

 

The total amount is ₦891,985,074,480.79
