Just In: Makinde Emerges APM Presidential Candidate

Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) following a consensus endorsement by party stakeholders.

Announcing the development, the National Chairman of the APM, Alhaji Yusuf Dantali, described the nomination process as the most peaceful, transparent, and rancour-free presidential selection exercise in Nigeria’s political history.

In recognition of his emergence, the party’s National Chairman presented Governor Makinde with the Certificate of Return and the official party flag, formally affirming his candidacy.

The endorsement was unanimously ratified by the APM chairmen from all 36 states of the federation, who adopted Makinde as the party’s consensus candidate for the presidential election.

The event, which is currently ongoing at Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall in Ibadan, has attracted party leaders, delegates, and supporters from across the country.
