Interview: Lagelu Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen Speaks On Effective Ways To Prioritize Grassroots Inclusivity
In a bid to shed light on his governance agenda and engage with constituents ahead of the April 27th chairmanship election, Lagelu Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, took part in a comprehensive interview with Fresh_FM’s Mayor Isaac Brown.
The discussion, which also featured his counterpart from the Progressive Congress, Olawale Belo, provided a platform for Kamoru to articulate his plans and aspirations for Lagelu local government area.

Furthermore, Kamorudeen outlined social policies aimed at improving maternal care services and supporting the elderly population in Lagelu. He expressed a commitment to enhancing healthcare access and promoting the well-being of expectant mothers and elderly citizens through community engagement and strategic partnerships with non-governmental organizations.
In line with Lagelu’s agricultural heritage, Kamoru proposed leveraging the local government’s vast arable land for agricultural development. He emphasized the importance of supporting local farmers and tapping into state government initiatives to boost agricultural productivity and revenue generation.
Responding to queries about his candidacy vis-à-vis his APC counterpart, Kamorudeen cited a departure from the alleged corruption of past administrations and expressed confidence in the electorate’s support for his vision of inclusive and accountable governance.
