In Readiness for Mapo PDP/APM Grand Rally, Thousands of DON Supporters Mobilise Across Ibadan North
Ahead of the much-anticipated Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Unity Mega Rally scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the historic Mapo Hall, thousands of loyalists and supporters of the federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, popularly known as DON, have intensified mobilisation efforts in readiness for the grand political gathering.
The mobilisation, which has continued to gather momentum across communities within the constituency, is expected to produce one of the largest turnouts at the rally, as supporters, party faithful, youths, women groups and grassroots mobilisers have all declared readiness for the event.
Speaking in a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the federal lawmaker, Bodija Akinwale, disclosed that extensive arrangements have been concluded to ensure a smooth, peaceful and memorable outing for supporters from Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
According to him, the overwhelming response from party loyalists and residents reflects the confidence reposed in the leadership style and people-oriented representation being championed by Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON.
Bodija noted that thousands of supporters have already indicated their willingness to participate actively in the rally, describing the event as the beginning of another political journey focused on strengthening people-centered representation and grassroots development.
He added that the rally would further reinforce unity, collaboration and progressive political engagement among supporters and stakeholders committed to the growth and advancement of Oyo State.
The PDP/APM Unity Mega Rally is expected to attract prominent political leaders, stakeholders, party members and supporters from across the state, with activities lined up to showcase solidarity, grassroots strength and renewed political direction ahead of future electoral engagements.
