The Lawmaker representing Egbeda State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly and Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola (Sunky), has congratulated Hon. Idris Abayomi on his appointment as Executive Adviser on Works to the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Babalola described the appointment as a “round peg in a round hole,” noting that Hon. Idris Abayomi’s experience, competence and understanding of the demands of public service make him well suited for the responsibility.
The lawmaker, who described Hon. Abayomi as a worthy son of Egbeda, expressed confidence that his appointment would further contribute to the administration’s efforts toward improving infrastructure and accelerating development across Oyo State.
Hon. Babalola said the appointment was not only a recognition of Hon. Abayomi’s capacity but also a source of pride to the people of Egbeda, who, he noted, would be delighted to see one of their own contribute meaningfully to the development agenda of the state.
He congratulated the newly appointed Executive Adviser and urged him to bring his wealth of experience, dedication and commitment to bear on his new assignment.
