Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji stands as a shining example of dedication, resilience, and purposeful leadership, with a strong connection to the grassroots and a track record that reflects both academic excellence and service to humanity.

Born in Agbaje, Ijokodo, Ibadan, with ancestral roots in Lapade Village, Engr. Adedeji’s journey is deeply rooted in the values of hard work, discipline, and community development. His early exposure to the realities of everyday people has shaped his passion for impactful leadership and people-oriented representation.

His educational journey began at Polytechnic Staff School, where he laid a solid academic foundation, before proceeding to Anwaru Islam Junior Secondary School. He further advanced to Wesley College of Science, building a strong background in science and technical education.

Oyo Lagba

Driven by a passion for engineering and innovation, Engr. Adedeji moved to Lagos State where he obtained his National Diploma (ND) in Electrical Engineering. He later gained admission into the prestigious Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), where he earned his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, further sharpening his technical expertise. Not resting on his oars, he proceeded to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), where he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Beyond academics, Engr. Adedeji distinguished himself as a proactive and people-centered leader during his student years. He served as Welfare Director at YABATECH, where he championed student well-being and advocated for improved living conditions. His leadership capacity was further demonstrated in his role as Welfare Director (Hostel Affairs), where he ensured the comfort and welfare of students residing on campus. He also served diligently as Secretary of the Students’ Association, playing a key role in administrative coordination and student representation. In addition, he served as Secretary of the Oyo State Students’ Association, further highlighting his early commitment to leadership and service.

Professionally, Engr. Adedeji has garnered valuable experience working in the Oil and Gas sector, where he contributed his technical expertise to critical operations. Alongside his professional career, he has successfully ventured into business, showcasing his entrepreneurial acumen and ability to create opportunities and drive economic growth.

He is a COREN-certified engineer and a proud member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, reflecting his adherence to global professional standards and ethical engineering practices. Beyond his professional commitments, he is also an active member of the Ibadan Recreational Club, demonstrating his social engagement and strong ties within the community.
