Ido: Council Chairman, Adeojo, Fulfills Another Campaign Promise, Commissions Borehole In Akindele Village
The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has commissioned a borehole project drilled by his administration for the people of Akindele village and its environs.
The newly commissioned borehole is sited at Akindele village in ward three of the local government area to ease water scarcity and provide drinkable water to the people of Akindele village and adjoining villages.
The council chairman, in his address, said drilling of the borehole is in line with the request of the people of the community during the stakeholders’ meeting initiated by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde to respects the yearning of each community and provide them with their needs.
Adeojo seized the forum to admonish the Akindele community to ensure proper supervision and maintenance of the borehole project to serve the intended purpose.
Baale of Akindele village, Chief Musibau Olalere, in his appreciation message, lauded Adeojo for being a man of his word and living up to his electioneering promises to make life meaningful to all and sundry in the local government area.
The commissioning exercise had in attendance the vice chairman-elect, Barrister Olayemi Oluwashina; PDP party chairman, Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola; serving councillors and other party leaders in Ido Local Government.
