Ido Council Chair, Adeojo, Congratulates Makinde On the Conferment of Jagunmolu Chieftaincy Title In Ondo
The Executive chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, joined other eminent Nigerians to congratulate Governor Seyi Makinde, on the conferment of chieftaincy title as the “Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom.
Makinde was, on Friday, installed as the Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom at the Osemawe Palace Ondo, Ondo State.
The installation of the prestigious Chieftaincy title of Oyo governor coincided with the 70th birthday celebration and 17th coronation anniversary of Oba (Dr) Victor Adesimbo Ademefun Kiladejo (Osemawe and Paramount Ruler of Ondo Kingdom).
According to the Ido local government chairman’s statement, which was personally signed on Saturday, he stated that Makinde’s new title from Ondo state is an affirmation of the governor’s responsible administration and quality governance deliverables he’s been giving since his assumption of office.
“It is a great pleasure for our governor to bring honor to Oyo state with his conferment of this prestigious Chieftaincy Title of the Jagunmolu Ondo Kingdom.
“His accelerated roadmap for the development of Oyo State since 2019 is so far effective and commendable. So, I am not surprised the ancient city of Ondo Kingdom found him worthy to celebrate and honor him to be the ambassador of the kingdom.
Speaking further, Adeojo said that Makinde merits the title because he is one of the few political leaders who advocate for strong traditional institutions.
Adeojo thereafter wished Governor Makinde his best as he continued to serve humanity in different spaces.
