The executive chairman of Ido local government Hon Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has lauded the Executive Governor of Oyo state for conducting a free and fair local government election which was devoided of rancour and litigation.
Hon. Adeojo made the commendation while swearing in the newly elected councillors in the local government.
The council chairman used the occasion to advise the councillors to demonstrate a high sense of maturity and understanding among themselves.
Hon. Adeojo equally enjoined the councillors to constantly remember that they are called to fulfil a mission and raise the development of the local government.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo cleared the air on the speculation on the selection of the principal officers of the legislative house “I want to openly tell the councillors that either myself or the party chairman is not interested in the distribution of legislative house principal officers”
Responding on behalf of the councillors, Omotosho Rafiu thanks the chairman, party stalwarts and well-wishers for standing with them to make the ceremony a memorable one.
