The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, fondly known as DoN, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, and his wife, Her Excellency Engr. (Mrs.) Tamunominini Makinde, on their recent conferment with the revered chieftaincy titles of Aare Omoluwabi and Yeye Aare Omoluwabi of Akure Land.

In a congratulatory statement released on Thursday, Hon. Oyekunle described the prestigious recognition as “a well-deserved honour” that reflects the Governor’s legacy of integrity, vision, and selfless service—not only to Oyo State but to the entire South West region and Nigeria at large.

“The conferment of the Aare Omoluwabi and Yeye Aare Omoluwabi titles on His Excellency and our amiable First Lady is a testament to their exemplary leadership, humility, and commitment to humanity. Their names continue to inspire a new generation of purposeful leaders,” the statement read.
