Ibadan North LG Chairman Olufade Attends Staff Prayer, Promises Improved Welfare and Effective Leadership
The executive chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, yesterday attended the monthly prayer session organized by the staff of Ibadan North local government.
The monthly event, held every first Monday of the month, serves as a time for the staff to pray for a fruitful month and the progress of the local government.
This session marked the prayer for the month of July. Entering the prayer venue with joy, Hon. Olufade danced alongside the staff, expressing gratitude to God.
During the event, he emphasized his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the staff, acknowledging them as the key drivers of the local government’s achievements.
“I urge all staff to remain dedicated to their duties, as Ibadan North is the Pacesetter Local Government for the remaining 32 local governments in Oyo State,” said Hon. Olufade.
He also requested the staff to keep him in their prayers to ensure effective leadership and continuous progress for Ibadan North.
The chairman opened the floor for staff to voice their demands, with many requesting improvements in their welfare.
In response, Hon. Olufade assured them that their well-being is his top priority and promised to address most of their concerns before the next monthly prayer.
He also announced that the next event would combine prayer and a welcome party to celebrate with the staff.
The staff expressed their joy, noting that this was the first time an executive chairman had danced with them in celebration.
They pledged their full support to the chairman and committed to performing their duties diligently.
The event was also attended by the Vice Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Akeem Ayoade, and the serving councilors, led by the leader of the Ibadan North Legislative Council, Hon. Adebola Taiwo. Hon. Olufade’s entourage included his Chief of Staff, Hamdy Mustapha; his Special Assistant on Education, Oloye Temitope Ajibola; his Head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola; and a member of the media team, Ayodamope Afolabi.
