Asiwaju Makanjuola Oluwatosin Taofeek, popularly known as AMOT Tosin Gboye is a highly respected grassroots politician, businessman, founder of AMOT INITIATIVES, Political Scientist and a proud son of Ibadan. Widely praised for his remarkable accessibility, proven integrity, and unmatched ability to unite people across all zones, he believes in all-inclusive, people-first leadership that delivers results and builds a better future.

Tosin Gboye pioneered the AWA ODO FOR GSM (AO4G MOVEMENT) 2023 and was a key force behind the 1 Million Man Walk for Engr. Seyi Makinde 2023. He was one of the leading prospects in the 2023 elections, with leadership roots from his SUG activism days.

AMOT comes from a distinguished political family. His father, the late Hon. Abdulwasiu Adegboyega “GBOYE IBO”, held state and local government offices and was widely commended for transparency, loyalty, and uniting people across party lines. GBOYE IBO was a respected figure in Ibadan politics who contributed to the emergence of H.E. Engr. Seyi Makinde in 2019. He believed in Makinde’s cause till his last day, even though he didn’t live to witness the commendable work.
