” Our group, OyoYoung Progressives, Ibadan north local government chapter, after a lot of analysis and consideration, has deem it fit to speak on the lackluster performance of the current federal Lawmaker of the constituent

Akinmorin said, “Since the emergence of the present house of rep member, the federal constituency has continued to be shamed and short-changed. We are not genuinely represented in any sphere at the green chambers in all affairs.

“There are many questions that need to be asked and require urgent answers for the public to be well-informed, how and where did our money go because we are yet to feel any representation from the side of the government headed by Hon. Akinremi (Jagagban) we have fundamentally been denied our rights all these years, we hereby demand to know where and how funds have been managed.

We seek the indulgence of the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal House of Representatives to tell us where he spent the Ecological funds given to the tune of thirty-seven million nairas (37M) directed to curb erosion control in Ijokodo.

* Eighty – seven million directed and released for the Training for cassava processing for women and youth in Ibadan North Federal Constituency

* The 200 million naira for the Construction of a township road in IBNLG, and no road up to a kilometer was constructed nor graded by the lawmaker.

* The two hundred million nairas for the Construction of classrooms and provision of furniture.

Let it be known that all of the above requests were only in the 2020 budget when the national budget performed 100%. The question is where are those projects with cost justification?

The coordinator further stated that the masses are tired of ghost representation stating, even at the close of the election the lawmaker has refused to appear publicly despite many calls for a debate on radio stations and public town hall but rather used our constituency funds to buy his way from public matters. We have been cheated long enough and we want an explanation for all the request above for clarity as the general elections is fast approaching
