Ibadan North East Local Government Welcomes New Comptroller Of Immigration On Familiarisation Visit

The new Comptroller of Immigration, Oyo State Command, Comptroller A.D. Jimoh pcc+, today paid a courtesy visit to Ibadan North East Local Government as part of his familiarization tour.

He was warmly received by Chairman of the Council, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo aka (O mu Yes), political functionaries, management staff of Ibadan North East LG and Ibadan East LCDA, traditional rulers’ representatives, and other security agencies.

In a release signed by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, Chairman Akintayo praised Comptroller Jimoh’s humility and professionalism, pledging the council’s support and cooperation.

The Council Boss noted that the newly posted Comptroller has demonstrated that his office is open for deliberations that will help in tackling security challenges and any other necessary steps to be taken to ensure synergy between them.

Chief Nurudeen Akinade, Representative of the Traditional Council and Coordinator of Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative, applauded the visit, citing its potential to enhance security efforts and also indicated that the effects of the gesture would be felt positively.

Similarly, SC Adeniyi Ademola of the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps promised collaboration to tackle security challenges, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring a peaceful society.

In response, Comptroller Jimoh thanked Chairman Akintayo and his team for the warm welcome, reaffirming his commitment to working together for the council’s growth and development, with an open-door policy for productive discussions.

This visit aligns with Comptroller Jimoh’s efforts to enhance coordination and cooperation with key stakeholders.
