Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, has appealed to traders at the Agodi Gate Spare Part Dealers to collaborate with the government on the ongoing reconstruction of the Spare Parts Market.
During his visit to the reconstruction site, Akintayo assured traders that the Oyo State Government is committed to developing the state’s infrastructure. He emphasized the importance of their support to ensure the project’s timely completion.
The reconstruction project aims to provide modern facilities, boost local commerce and contribute to the region’s overall development. Akintayo reiterated his administration’s commitment to revitalizing key infrastructures, prioritizing infrastructure development to uplift the state’s economy and improve livelihoods.
Traders, who initially expressed fears, have placed their trust in Akintayo and pledged their full support for the project. The Chairman expressed optimism that cooperation from all parties would lead to the project’s successful completion, benefiting the entire local government.
