Ib’ North East Chairman, Akintayo Urges Patriotism And Unity As Nigeria Marks 64th Independence Day

As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Day, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo (O mu Yes), has appealed to Nigerians to be patriotic and uphold good virtues despite the economic challenges facing the country.

In a release signed by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, Chairman Akintayo urges Nigerians, especially the people of Oyo State, to be united in their quest for a more prosperous and harmonious Nigeria.

Hon. Akintayo congratulates Nigerians on this significant milestone, saying Nigeria might still be battling with some challenges in the areas of security, finance, and infrastructure, but the country is still progressing, and a better days are coming.

“Ibadan North East Local Government has been working tirelessly to promote economic growth, improve infrastructure, and provide essential services to its residents, and the local government will continue to do this to make life convenient for residents of Ibadan North East Local Government,” Chairman Akintayo said.

Chairman Akintayo commended the efforts of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, for his continuous efforts in developing Oyo State for the betterment of its residents. He also thanked all stakeholders supporting his administration in maintaining peace and promoting development in the Local Government.

The Chairman reassured the commitment of the Local Government in completing ongoing projects and implementing new ones to enhance the lives of Ibadan North East LG residents.

The Council Boss felicitated with the Legislative Council, Supervisors, Traditional Council, Management and entire staff, Market Officials, and the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government.

Once again, Chairman Akintayo congratulated the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government and Oyo State on this momentous occasion. “Let us work together to build a better future for ourselves, our children, and our beloved nation,” he concluded.
