The statement was contained in a condolence message of the Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele to commiserate with the bereaved family of Sheikh Muideen Ajani Bello over the demise of their father and husband which occurred early hour of yesterday Friday December 6, 2024.

The chairman described Alhaji Muideen a virtuous Islamic scholar and lover of peace whose contributions to Islam in all ramifications have brought peaceful co-existence among muslim Ummah.

Hon Sanda sympathize with the Muslim Ummah acknowledging the significant impact Sheikh Ajani Bello had on the nation at large. Stressed that, he shared in the pain of the muslim Ummah over the passing of highly reversed Islamic scholar at age 84.

Sheikh Ajani Bello in his lifetime was a cerebral scholar who lived to serve the Almighty Allah and humanity with his usual insight in the Holy Quran, depth of wisdom and the gift of interpretation, which provided peace, comfort and guidance of many.
