Hon. Oyekunle Hails Makinde’s Commitment to Ibadan Tradition, Congratulates Sons and Daughters on Palace Commissioning

The Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DoN), has congratulated the sons and daughters of Ibadanland on the commissioning of the newly built Olubadan palace in Oke Aremo.

In a statement released by his special assistant on media and publicity, Mr. Wale Bodija, Hon. Oyekunle praised Governor Makinde for his commitment to upholding the cultural heritage and tradition of Ibadan. He described the new palace as a “milestone achievement” that showcases the governor’s dedication to preserving the rich history of the city.

Hon. Oyekunle also extended his warm congratulations to the Olubadan designate, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, praying that his reign will be long, peaceful, and prosperous. He expressed his wishes for the monarch’s good health and royal reign, saying, “May your reign be blessed with wisdom, strength, and joy.”

The deputy chief of staff commended the people of Ibadan for their support and cooperation, saying, “This achievement is a testament to the collective efforts of our people and the vision of our governor.”
