
Hon. Lanre Sarumi (Skido) has congratulated the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Southwest region on the successful conduct of its recently held Zonal Congress. He also commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for ensuring the event was peaceful, well-coordinated, and reflective of the party’s democratic values.
In his congratulatory message, Sarumi lauded the re-election of Mr. Kamorudeen Ajisafe as the PDP Southwest Zonal Chairman, along with the newly elected executive members who emerged at the congress. The event, which took place at the Emeritus Professor Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, was a testament to the party’s unity and commitment to democratic processes.

Sarumi also extended his recognition to Alhaja Mudijat Abosede Adedibu, who was re-elected as the Zonal Women Leader, Hon. Tirimisiyu Azee, returned as Zonal Ex-Officio Member, and Mrs. Mosunmola Oluwakemi Bello, re-elected as National Ex-Officio Member. He praised their continued dedication, noting that their re-election reflects the party’s confidence in experienced and proven leadership.
