Taiwo Olayiwola completed his Youth Service as a Secondary School Teacher at Christ City International College Moniya in Ibadan in November 2022.
ACCIDENT: He boarded a public SIENNA bus on Saturday 10 December 2022, en route to Lagos from Ibadan at 9:30 am. Unfortunately, the vehicle got involved in a road traffic accident and the young man suffered a SPINAL CORD INJURY.
He was later admitted to the North West Ward of the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, quadriplegic, unable to move both hands and legs but can speak.
After the first phase of his treatment, he was continuing his treatment as an outpatient.
*TREATMENT*: He had an immediate surgical procedure on his brain to stabilize his condition ais nd currently in the therapy stage to recover so that he can fully take control of his hands and legs.

COURSE OF STUDY: LINGUISTICS
MUM: Deceased
FATHER: Abandoned him as a child. He was raised by his late Mum’s family.
FINANCIAL STATE: Struggling family, maternal uncle came in to help at the outset of his treatment but was unable to bear the enormous cost of treatment. The famsoughteked support from the public but the funds were exhausted during surgery and other treatments.
HELP: The family needs urgent financial assistance/support for the rehabilitation/Physiotherapy process and treatment of a bedsore he incurred as a result of being unable to move on his part, which is currently ongoing.
