Guber Victory: Ibadan North LG Councilors Congratulates, Makinde, Babajide, Comforter On Landslide Victory, Appreciates Leaders

Following the emergence of Governor Seyi Makinde as the winner of the Oyo State governorship election held last Saturday, March 18th, 2023, more congratulatory messages have continued to pour in from individuals, groups, and political associates

One of them is the leadership of the Ibadan North Legislative, led by Hon. Olaolu Akindele who described Makinde and the two Oyo state house of assembly members elects hon. Babajide Gabriel and Hon. Olufunke Comforter’s victories as well deserved.

The council legislative house, in a statement issued on Tuesday, made available to Bowamedia.com, attributed the Oyo State governor’s victory to his achievements in the past four years.

“We extend our warm felicitations to the governor Engr. Seyi Makinde, Hon. Babajide Gabriel and Hon. Mrs. Olufunke Comforter on your well-deserved victory in the just concluded Oyo gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections. For those of us who have keenly followed your giant strides in Oyo state, your victory did not come as a surprise.

“Your re-election, therefore, represents a bold and emphatic testimony to the good work you have done in the past four years. We cannot also ignore the many strides from our leaders towards ensuring these great and overwhelming results from our local government are attained, we appreciate our leaders, hon. Awoleye Abiodun Dada, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe), Hon. Seun Adelore, Hon. Toyin Balogun, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON), and the host of others.” the leader was quoted as saying.
