Prominent human rights activist, Chidi Odinkalu, has condemned the detention of two bloggers, charged with defamation by Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank).

Odinkalu, a former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), described the detention as a “blatant abuse of power” and called for a boycott of GTBank.
