For over seven years, the communities of Olodo comprised Olukunle, Olufon, Sule and Kooko communities had been disconnected and neglected due to the collapse of the culvert that once linked them together. This infrastructural setback caused immense hardship, with daily struggles, economic losses, and a general sense of isolation haunting these communities.
However, all of that changed with the visionary leadership of the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru, who through his determination and unwavering commitment to his people, restored the lost hope of these communities and broke the long awaited jinx.

Under the stewardship of the council boss, Hon. Sanda Sikiru, flags off Construction of 2 meters x 4 meters Single Box Culvert to rewrite the ignominious history of the Olodo, Olukunle area of Ward 5.
Today, as the restored Culvet stands proudly in its place, it signifies much more than just a piece of infrastructure. It symbolizes the return of hope, prosperity, and unity to a community that had suffered in silence for far too long. Residents no longer face the burden of crossing hazardous paths to neighboring communities; farmers now have the freedom to transport their goods with ease; and families can once again connect with other parts of Egbeda and beyond.

The joy and appreciation felt by the residents of Olukunle and its neighboring communities are immeasurable. They express heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Sanda Sikiru for his dedication, vision, and the transformative impact this project has had on their lives. For them, this Culvet represents not only a physical link to the residents but also a testament to a leader who listened, cared, and acted when it mattered most.
Hon. Sanda is not resting his oars as he continues in his massive infrastructural revolution to ensure that Egbeda is salvaged from the irks of the past as the comfort of the residents of egbeda is the watchword of the council boss.
