Fidau Prayer: Makinde’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Folajimi Oyekunle, Pays Tribute to Akinremi Jagaban, Commend Gov. Makinde’s For Honoring Lawmaker

Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, attended the 8th Fidau Prayer of late House of Representative lawmaker, Hon. Akinremi Olaide Jagaban, held at Emeritus Hall, UCH, Ibadan.

Speaking to newsmen, Folajimi Oyekunle said the late lawmaker has left a void in the hearts of many, especially in Ibadan North Local Government, and will be greatly missed. He commended Governor Seyi Makinde for honoring the late lawmaker by naming the newly developed estate in Ibadan after him as a memorial.

Folajimi Oyekunle said.

“The late Hon. Akinremi Olaide Jagaban was a true servant of the people, and his legacy will continue to inspire us. His contributions to the development of Ibadan and Oyo State will never be forgotten, we are gathered here to mourn and at the same time celebrate a legacy of our brother and lawmaker”

Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle stated that it’s clearly shows how impactful the late Lawmaker was the state with the special recognition in his honor from His Excellency Governor Makinde by honoring the late lawmaker and recognizing his contributions to the state with the naming of the estate after the demised lawmaker

The event was well attended by the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Bayo Lawal, House of Representative members, other political functionaries, and supporters.
