Eid-el-Kabir: “May this Eid bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to you and your loved ones,” Ibadan North Council Chairman Olufade Felicitates Muslims
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muslims in Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria, and around the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
In his congratulatory message made available to newsmen by his head of Media unit, Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, Olufade urged the Muslim ummah to reflect on the profound significance of this blessed day.
The message reads:
“Eid Mubarak to the good people of Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria, and the world at large.
As we celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, let us reflect on the profound significance of this blessed day.
This is a time for all Muslims to commemorate the unwavering faith and ultimate sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command.
In return, Allah spared his son and provided a ram to sacrifice instead, showcasing the importance of faith, trust, and submission to the divine will.
May Allah accept our good deeds, forgive our transgressions, and ease the suffering of all people around the globe. May this Eid bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to you and your loved ones.
May your prayers be answered, your sacrifices accepted, and your heart filled with joy and gratitude.
Eid Mubarak!”
Hon. Olufade emphasized the importance of reflecting on the values of faith, trust, and submission to Allah’s will, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
He called on the Muslim community to embrace these virtues, especially during these challenging times.
