In commemoration of World Food Day, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, joined forces with farmers in the region to raise awareness about hunger and promote global food security. This event, held at the House of Chiefs, State Secretariat in Ibadan, aimed to support the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization’s mission to achieve zero hunger.

These initiatives include providing farmers with essential equipment such as cassava stems, fertilizers, sprayers, and chemicals.
The event showcased the region’s agricultural produce at an exhibition ground, thanks to the efforts of the Director of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr. Salawu, his deputy, Mrs. Salaudeen, and other agricultural officers from Egbeda local government.
