The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development and community welfare through strategic financial support to key local groups.
In a show of inclusive leadership, the Chairman approved a sum of ₦500,000 for the Isokan Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association of Nigeria, in recognition of their contributions to indigenous healthcare and the preservation of cultural heritage. Another ₦500,000 was also allocated to the Adekola, Iyana Agbala Community Development Committee to support ongoing projects aimed at improving living standards within the community.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the President of the Isokan Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Chief Oladimeji Asimiyu Jagunmolu, expressed deep appreciation for the Chairman’s generosity. He described the intervention as timely and impactful, adding that it would greatly enhance the association’s operations and community outreach.
The initiative further highlights Hon. Oyedele’s dedication to empowering local communities, strengthening grassroots structures, and driving sustainable development across Egbeda Local Government.
