Egbeda Council Boss, Sanda Sikiru Swears in New Supervisors and Special Assistants
The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele (Lajuee), has sworn in 11 new Supervisors and Special Assistants at the Council Headquarters on July 23, 2024.
In his keynote address, Hon. Sanda welcomed the newly appointed officials and expressed his gratitude to Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE for his leadership. He congratulated the appointees and urged them to discharge their duties with integrity, rise to the challenges ahead, and support the governor’s vision for Omituntun 2.0.
Hon. Sanda reaffirmed his commitment to an open-door policy, ensuring equity, justice, and fair play in distributing democratic dividends throughout the local government.
Additionally, some PDP members in Egbeda Local Government received political appointments, including Hon. David Odegoke Olubunmi (a.k.a Solution) as Majority Leader of the House, and others in media, security, welfare, and mobilization roles.
Vice Chairman Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple congratulated the new appointees and prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom in their duties.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Elder Dr. Wole Caleb Oyelese, Deputy Majority Leader Hon. Olasunkanmi Babalola, Pastor Judah Olamoyegun, and others.
