Egbeda Council Boss, Sanda Commission 300KVA Transformer, Solar Lights, Donates Cash to Olojo Community

The joy of residents of the Olojo community in the olodo area of ward five (5) in egbeda local government knew no bounds, yesterday, as they received a 300 KVA transformer to boost the power supply in the area.

Cash donation by the council chairman, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Ayodele saw to the purchase of a new transformer for the community. Some residents were seen in jubilation as they welcomed the new transformer into their community.

While receiving the equipment, on behalf of the Olojo community, the CDA chairman, Chief Ajala, said the community cried to the council boss when there was a need for an alternative transformer to complement the existing one, which became overloaded due to expansion.

He said: “We are grateful to our council chairman, Sanda for granting our request to help with cash support towards the purchase of the new one. We have always enjoyed the council chairman’s gestures and massive performance from his days as a lawmaker at the Oyo state house assembly, where he donated a similar 300 kva transformer. We are grateful and also assure you of our full support towards ensuring that our governor, Seyi Makinde, and others in PDP emerge”

The ALGON chairman, in response to the community leaders, said the transformers and solar lights were part of his electoral promises to the communities and advised the beneficiaries to protect them against vandalization.

Furthermore, he reminded the community towards playing a massive role by coming out as a whole on Saturday to vote for his excellency engr. Seyi Makinde and all other candidates from the PDP for continuous infrastructural developments.
