The councilor representing ward seven in Ido local government, Hon. Adedeji Adebowale has supported four indigent students from Community High School, Elenusonso, Ibadan with ten thousand Naira each to obtain WAEC forms.
Hon. Adedeji said the token was his way of encouraging indigent students in their academic pursuits.
He analyzed further the major obstacles preventing some gifted students from writing WAEC exams in some schools.
“It is in realizing this fact that prompted me to support four students for a start with ten thousand Naira each to obtain WAEC forms”.
Hon. Adebowale pledged that the action will be a continuous exercise where students will be picked randomly within the ward and be supported financially to write their final exams.
Appreciating the kind gestures of Hon. Adebowale, the parents of the four students, namely: 1. Miss Okunola Grace 2. Master Ibrahim Lateef 3. Miss Adekunle Oluwayemisi and 4. Master Azeez Victor thanked the councilor for the unexpected support during this crucial period and prayed for the councilor’s breakthrough in all his endeavors.
