Dr. Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE) Welcomes Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi to PDP, Lauds Makinde’s Leadership Acumen

The Convener of the OTOPE Foundation and a prominent leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ona-Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, has formally welcomed Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi into the PDP, describing his decision as “a timely and commendable step that aligns with the progress-driven spirit of Oyo State under Governor Seyi Makinde.”

The welcome message was released on Wednesday through OTOPE’s media aide, shortly after Adekanmbi announced his defection at Gbada-Efon, Ward 4, Ona-Ara Local Government.

According to the statement, Adekanmbi’s move is “a strategic and well-considered decision that reflects the growing confidence of notable political actors in the PDP’s credible leadership, reform-minded governance, and people-focused policies as exemplified by Governor Seyi Makinde.”

The statement described Hon. Adekanmbi as a seasoned technocrat and respected grassroots political figure whose entry into the party will further strengthen the PDP’s structure within Ona-Ara and its environs.

“Dr. Oladimeji applauds Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi’s courage and conviction in joining the PDP at this defining moment in Oyo State’s political history. His experience, administrative depth, and vast network will be invaluable as the party continues to consolidate its influence at the grassroots,” the media aide noted.

OTOPE also commended Governor Makinde’s visionary leadership, stating that the governor’s unwavering commitment to transparency, development, and inclusive governance continues to attract credible individuals into the PDP.

The statement concluded by reaffirming that the PDP remains open to progressive-minded leaders committed to unity, development, and the advancement of Oyo State.
