The Civil Society Organizations on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative (CSCHEI) in Nigeria has appointed Kunle Yusuff, MON, as its Director General.
The appointment was endorsed by the Board of Trustees and Alliance Members of the organization on Tuesday, during the inaugural meeting of the executive management team, which was held at Nicon Luxury, Central Area, Abuja.
The Organization is an accredited non-profit establishment that coordinates various registered Community-Based Organizations and non-governmental Organizations NGOs, to provide community enhancement, humanitarian empowerment, dignity, and societal values for development in the country.
Equally, the establishment serves as the bridge between the government and the masses, interfacing between communities and private sectors on Corporate Social Responsibility as well as establishing administrative relationships with development partners and donor agencies on grant interventions.
Kunle Yussuf, in his acceptance speech, appreciated the Board of Trustees and Alliance Members on the appointment, which he described as a great honor done to him.
He promised that, as the new Director General, he would uphold the operational principles of the organization, which are predicated upon the precept of logic, science, and data as well as values.
Concluding, Yusuff stated that he would ensure he achieves his best in nurturing inclusive local communities in the advancement of the social, economic, humanitarian, and environmental progress of the society.
