A High Court sitting in Oyo State has directed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, to convene the party’s national convention as scheduled on November 15, 2025, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Justice A. L. Akintola, who presided over the matter, issued the order on Monday following an ex parte application filed by Folahan Malomo Adelabi.
The court’s ruling effectively mandates the PDP leadership to proceed with the convention without further delay.
