Chairman Akintayo Extends Eid-Mawlid Greetings to Ibadan North East Muslims
The Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has extended warm congratulations to Muslims in the local government area on the occasion of this year’s Eid-Mawlid celebration.

In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan, to mark the auspicious occasion, Akintayo noted that Eid-Mawlid is a significant celebration that commemorates the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
He equally noted in the statement that the event is an opportunity for Muslims to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet and re-dedicate themselves to the principles of peace, love, and unity.

Akintayo described the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as a symbol of mercy, compassion, and guidance, whose teachings have had a profound impact on humanity.
He, however, urged Muslims to emulate the noble character of the Prophet and strive to make their communities better places to live.

The Chairman also seized the opportunity to wish Muslims in Ibadan North East Local Government a joyous and blessed Eid-Mawlid celebration.
He prayed for peace, prosperity, and progress in the local government area and beyond.
