A private jet reportedly skidded off the runway at the Ibadan Airport, Alakia, Oyo State, BOWA MEDIA reports.
According to PUNCH newspaper, the incident occurred on Friday night.
However, details of the incident were still sketchy as of press time.
Bowamedia.com confirmed the private jet was occupied by a well-known Ibadan politician.
When contacted, the General Manager of the State Fire Service, Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the incident to our correspondent on the phone.
Akinyinka said, “Yes, it is true. Our men are on their way, but I don’t have details now. You will be updated.”
