BREAKING: Ibadan Northeast PDP Stakeholders Adopt Samuel Abiodun Ogunjobi As Consensus Chairmanship Candidate, Obtains Nomination Form (Video)
Ahead of the 2024 local government elections in Oyo State, PDP leaders and stakeholders in Ibadan Northeast local government have unanimously endorsed Samuel Abiodun Ogunjobi as the consensus candidate for the council.
Rising from a stakeholders meeting held this Thursday in the Abayomi area, Iwo Road, Ibadan, the party stakeholders ratified the endorsement of Samuel Abiodun Ogunjobi as the consensus candidate for the PDP.
According to the stakeholders, other aspirants who initially indicated interest to vie for the chairmanship position said they were dropping their ambitions for Samuel Abiodun Ogunjobi declaring that he is capable to pilot the affairs of the council in alignment with the sustainable development agenda of His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde under Omituntun 2.0.
All the leaders who attended the meeting and appended the signatures to Samuel’s endorsement include:
“After an exhaustive deliberation by Ibadan North East Local Government Stakeholders held today the 13th day of July 2023.
“It is hereby resolved that SAMUEL ABIODUNM OGUNJOBI is unanimously presented as the Consensus Candidate for Ibadan North East Local Government Chairmanship Election coming up later in the year.”
