Akinyele, Lagelu Chairmen Submit Development Proposals to Rep Akinmoyede
In a collaborative effort to address pressing developmental needs in the Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, the chairmen of Lagelu and Akinyele local government areas, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen and Hon. Wole Akinleye, have submitted a draft of proposed developmental initiatives to the member representing the federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Lafisoye Akinmoyede.
The submission, which was made on Thursday at the lawmaker’s office in the Capital City of Nigeria, contains a comprehensive list of key public needs that can be facilitated with federal effort for the betterment of the two local government areas. The initiatives span key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, and rural development, with a focus on improving the standard of living for residents in both Lagelu and Akinyele.
In their remarks, the two local government chairmen commended Rep Akinmoyede for playing his fed-role alongside state and local efforts in ensuring that the needs of the people are addressed in the constituency. The lawmaker was commended for his effective representation.
Hon. Kamorudeen, the chairman of Lagelu local government, noted that the proposed initiatives were carefully selected based on consultations with the people of the two local government areas. Similarly, Hon. Akinleye of Akinyele local government highlighted the importance of continued collaboration to ensure sustainable development for the region.
In his reaction, Rep Akinmoyede expressed his appreciation for the proactive efforts of the two chairmen and assured them of a careful study and prioritization of the draft for possible inclusion in federal programs. He reiterated his commitment to working closely with all stakeholders to ensure that the needs of the people are effectively addressed through legislative advocacy and federal interventions.
