Akintayo Extends Felicitations to Muslims on Eid-el-Maulud, Emphasizes Love and Unity
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo has extended heartfelt felicitations to Muslims faithful on the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement signed by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, the Chairman said “As we celebrate Eid-el-Maulud, I felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ibadan North East and across Nigeria.
” This significant occasion commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who taught us invaluable lessons on love, peace, unity, and compassion.
“I congratulate Muslims in Ibadan North East, Ibadan and Oyo state as a whole for witnessing this occasion in good health, despite the nation’s economic challenges. I urge our Muslim community to utilize this period to offer prayers for our state and Nigeria’s progress, stability, and unity.
“Let us reflect on the Holy Prophet’s teachings and incorporate them into our daily lives. As we mark this joyous occasion, may this celebration bring us closer to Allah and foster a spirit of unity among Nigerians.
“I pray for the progress and development of Ibadan North East Local Government, political functionaries, staff, and for Nigeria’s continued growth and prosperity.
“Let us continue to promote love, peace, and unity, as taught by Prophet Muhammad (SAW). On this special day, I wish our Muslim community a joyous Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
