Akintayo Commiserates With Pa Bayo Lawal Over Wife’s Demise, Justice Beatrice Adesina Lawal (rtd)
The Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government area of Ibadan, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has mourned the passing of retired Justice Beatrice Adesuwa Lawal, describing it as sad and shocking.
He similarly commiserated with the husband of the deceased, Pa Bayo Lawal, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in the North East local government and ally of Oyo State Governor’ Engr Seyi Makinde, on the passing of his wife.
In a condolence message personally signed on Tuesday and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Akintayo lauded her contributions to the judiciary arm of government both in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
He described her death as not only an irreparable and great loss to his family and the state but the one which also creates great vacuum in the judiciary in the country.
Akintayo equally acknowledged that her days as a legal luminary were full of mentoring, coaching and shaping judicial officers at all levels, adding that “the agony of her death will remain with us for many years to come.”
He, however, prayed for Allah’s Blessing on the reposed soul of late Justice Beatrice Adesuwa Lawal (rtd), saying “May Allah give her husband, children and other family members the fortitude to bear the loss.”
