Ibadan North CCC, Moves Campaign Train To Wards 10 and 11• Reminds Voters That By Supporting, Voting PDP, Unprecedented Developments Will Continue
After days of suspension of political campaign activities of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP), Ibadan North chapter, by the Central Campaign Council, over the protest again new notes and fuel scarcity, the party leaders, and members re-starts campaigning yesterday.
It will be recalled that PDP CCC Ibadan on February 5, announced the political rally suspension, a decision made to emphasize the suffering, poor masses
over the hardship causing lingering scarcity of Old naira notes and fuel, which led to protests in Oyo state that affected some residents of Ibadan North local government
The Chairman of the Central Campaign Council for all PDP candidates in the local government Hon. Dada Awoleye on Tuesday led the campaign train to Ward 10 and Ward 11 for sensitization and mobilization of voters in the wards ahead of the 2023 general election.
Awoleye while speaking, He stressed that the party flag bearers from the constituency in the person of the hon. Babajide Gabriel, who is seeking re-election as a member representing Ibadan north local government constituency 2 at the Oyo state house of assembly and also hon. Lanre Sarumi, as a member representing Ibadan’s north federal constituency, is capable to represent the interests of their constituency at the various chambers and will complement the unprecedented mind-blowing achievements of governor Seyi Makinde in the future.
He called on the entire residents of Ward 10 and 11 to vote for Babajide Gabriel, Lanre Sarumi, and other candidates of the PDP in Oyo State in the 2023 general election, in appreciation for the dividends of good governance in the state.
The CCC chairman also charged the candidates, party leaders, and members
to improve on their previous strategy to ensure that the PDP wins convincingly across the polling units in the ward in the forthcoming general election.
