Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Folajimi Oyekunle Felicitates Olubadan on 89th Birthday
The Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DoN), has felicitated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Ige Iyanda Owolabi Olakulehin I, on his 89th birthday anniversary.
In a press statement released by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Bodija Akinwale, Hon. Oyekunle extolled the Olubadan’s years of impact and service to the people of Ibadanland, wishing him many more years of wisdom, good health, and reign.
The statement read, “On behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde, Family and the entire government of Oyo State, I join the good people of Ibadanland and beyond in celebrating the life and legacy of our revered monarch, Oba Akinloye Ige Iyanda Owolabi Olakulehin I, on his 89th birthday anniversary.
“Your Imperial Majesty’s dedication to the development and progress of Ibadanland is unparalleled, and your wisdom and leadership have been a beacon of hope and inspiration to our people.
“As you officially ascend the throne of your forefathers in the days to come, we pray that God grants you more years of wisdom, good health, and strength to continue leading our people to greater heights.

The Olubadan, who is the 43rd monarch to occupy the throne, has been a symbol of unity and tradition in Ibadanland for many years, and his birthday anniversary is celebrated with pomp and pageantry across the city.
