Ibadan North East LG Chairman, Akintayo, Pays Condolence Visit to Arapaja Over Mother’s Death
The Chairman of Ibadan North East local government area of Ibadan, Oyo State, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, on Monday, paid a condolence visit to Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), over the death of his mother, Alhaja Limotalai Arapaja.
Akintayo visited Arapaja at his residence, where he commiserated with him and his family over the loss of their matriarch.
At the mourning moment, he prayed for the repose of the soul of Alhaja Arapaja and offered his condolences to the family.
Signing the condolence register, Akintayo wrote: “Mama led a life of impact. She was a caring and compassionate woman and I believe family should be consoled and take solace in those qualities. She really lived for humanity.
“I commiserate with our father and leader, Ambassador Arapaja, over this loss and pray for the repose of Mama’s soul. May God grant her Al-jannah firdaus.”
Akintayo’s visit was seen as a show of solidarity and support to Arapaja and his family during their time of grief.
He, however, prayed that God should grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Among the entourage of the Chairman were SUBEB Full-time Commissioner, Alhaji Akeem Oladiti; all former and present councillors of the local government; members of the PDP and other lovers of the chairman.
