The Oyo State Police Command on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, warned ladies who still move about with internet fraudsters, saying they should exhibit high level of smartness and should note that there is no such thing as God-fearing Yahoo Boy.

The command disclosed this on its X handle, apparently following cases of internet fraudsters who were arrested for engaging in ritual activities, with unconfirmed reports that some of the fraudsters use body parts of their girlfriends to do money-making rituals.

There have also been instances whereby young ladies are seen roaming the streets and major roads after they might have been dropped by young men in flashy cars, with the insinuations that such ladies lose their minds after they have been used for ritual purposes.

Monumental Legacy

Apparently based on the cases in the hands of its men, the state police command warned ladies to beware of internet fraudsters, saying there is nothing like a God-fearing Yahoo Boy, while also asking them to always stay sharp.

While emphasizing the importance of hard work and contentment, the command said there is dignity in labour while also praying for those who are doing their legitimate businesses to always be successful.

The command wrote: “May God bless all legitimate hustlers out there. Bringing the bread home with the family in mind. Dear Queens, there is no such thing as a God-fearing Yahoo Boy. Stay sharp.”
