Following the death of the mother of the lawmaker representing Oyo North, Dr. AbdulFatai Buhari, the executive chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Dr. Zacch Adedeji has commiserated with the family.
Adedeji, in a statement by his Technical Assistant on Media, Sikiru Akinola, urged the three-term lawmaker to be consoled by the fact that the old woman died at a ripe age.
“I like to join other sympathizers to sympathize with Sen. AbdulFatai Buhari on the demise of his mother. I know that nobody would want his or her parents or loved ones to die but death is the end of every moral as attested to by the two Holy Books.
“I want you to take heart and be consoled that she lived longer and you and your other siblings survived her. We can only pray God to repose her soul and grant her aljannah firdaus.
“While I am with the family in this mourning period, I pray God gives you the fortitude to bear the loss,” the statement added.
