Council Chairman, Adeojo Donates Motorcycles To Security Agencies To Boost Security Performance In Ido
The Ido local government executive chairman, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has distributed Motorcycles to the security agencies across the local government areas.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo handed over the Motorcycles to the security agencies during the March edition of the Peace and Security meeting held in his office, at the local government secretariat, Ido.
The provision of the motorcycles to security agencies according to Adeojo is in his effort to strengthen the security architecture within the local government area.
He said the distribution of motorcycles is to enhance job performance because the motorcycle has the advantage of entering the interior of any community during the operation over a security van.
Beneficiary agencies include Ile-Ido Police Station, Omi-adio Police Station, Kuola Police Station, Eleyele Police Station, Operation Burst, Immigration, DSS, and others.
The chairman tasked both the conventional and non-conventional security agencies to build on their good records in their various areas which made him procure Okada for them.
While appreciating the council chairman on behalf of the agencies, Lieutenant ML Bongo of Operation Burst thanked Adeojo for giving them motorcycles to aid them in performing their duties effectively and said the act portrays the chairman as a security-conscious man.
Lieutenant ML Bongo therefore pledged that the motorcycles would be put to good use and for the purpose meant for.
