Sarumi Meets with Constituents and Rallies PDP Supporters in Ibadan North for Makinde’s Re-election.
Peoples Democratic Party House Representatives candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the recently concluded National Assembly election, Honourable Lanre Sarumi has expressed appreciation to his constituents for their support during the last poll.
Sarumi on Tuesday expressed his gratitude during a strategic meeting with the stakeholders and his supporters across the 12 wards of Ibadan North Federal Constituency while stressing the need to deliver a resounding victory for Governor Seyi Makinde at the March 11th governorship election.
At the meeting, Sarumi, popularly called Skido, encouraged his teaming supporters to move past the February 25th election and focus on how they will correct some of the mistakes experienced during the poll in other to achieve a 100% victory on Saturday.
He assured them that the PDP executive members are already studying the results of the last National Assembly election, stressing that the party will not hesitate to take legal step if it suspects any foul play.
In their response, most of the attendees expresses their disappointment and bitterness over some of the circumstances that led into the accumulation of the unexpected results across the polling units and wards, while advising the party members to unite so as to achieve the desired result on next Saturday.
Hon. Lanre Sarumi further thanked his supporters for their loyalty, commitment and dedication to the SKIDO-23 project through the years. He however pledged to continue his philanthropic gestures regardless of the outcome of the election.
He also advised them to troop out and vote massively for Governor Makinde, and urged them to guard their votes jealously so as to ensure that Oyo State residents continue to enjoy Governor Makinde’s peaceful administration.
