Alh Ibrahim Faira Abdul Ganiyu Supervisory Councilor for legislative matters in Ibadan North Local Government has distanced himself from the purported list of the party members who want to engage in anti-party activities to show their grievances against governor Seyi Makinde
The list which has been fingered to have emanated from the opposition listed names of party chieftains and political appointees.
In the list, ‘Alh Ibrahim Faira Abdul Ganiyu’ was named.
In a statement on Thursday, Faira said the name listed in the list was not his, adding that many people bear the same name.
“My attention has been drawn to a list circulating, containing names of politicians who want the governor of Oyo state voted out of office come May 29” Bowa Media quoted him as saying.
“Alh Ibrahim Faira Abdul Ganiyu, wish to state categorically that I recognize that there are other persons with such a name and should not be linked to him.
“Therefore, this statement is to clarify that I, Alh Ibrahim Faira Abdul Ganiyu is not the one referred to on the list.”
Faira said he is a loyal member of the ruling party in Oyo state and a staunch follower of Governor Seyi Makinde
