The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) consensus chairmanship candidate for Lagelu local government area, Iyana Offa, Hon. Mudashir Kamorudeen (also known as Senator), has recently obtained his clearance certificate from the State working committee of the party. Following this development, he presented the clearance certificate to the Lagelu Elders Caucus of the PDP.
On Thursday, the consensus chairmanship candidate met with the League of Elders caucus, expressing his heartfelt appreciation for their unwavering support. He conveyed his readiness to benefit from their immense experience and blessings.
It’s worth noting that Senator Kamorudeen is the sole candidate who obtained a nomination form for the Chairmanship position in the local government area. The party primaries are scheduled for tomorrow, during which his candidature will be officially confirmed.
In his statement, he shared his feelings about the privilege of meeting with the Elders Caucus of the LagelPDP official party and presenting his clearance certificate:
“Just today, I had the privilege of meeting with the Elders Caucus of our great party @Lagelu-PDPOfficial, presenting to them my certificate of clearance from the party.”
“This moment, for me, was a great privilege to express my deepest gratitude to the elders for all the support and energy that went into making my candidacy possible, and to affirm their significant role as an authoritative voice within the leadership structure of our great party,” he stated.
“As I draw strength from the abundance of their fatherly love and blessings today, I stand firm, knowing that the elders are our most valuable treasure in this party.”
