“Her Pedigree Deserves a National Role” — Oshoniyi Hails Toyin Balogun’s Appointment as Women Coordinator

The former Council Chairman of Aare Latosa LCDA in Ibadan North and chieftain of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Alhaji Hon. Kazeem Oshoniyi, has congratulated the former Oyo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon. Mrs Toyin Balogun, on her appointment as the Presidential National Women Coordinator for the Seyi Makinde/Duara campaign.

Oshoniyi, in a congratulatory statement made available to BowaMedia.com, described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Mrs Balogun’s pedigree, antecedents and years of service have prepared her for greater responsibilities at the national level.
According to him, he had no expectation short of a higher national assignment for Balogun, considering her track record, commitment and experience in public service.

He also commended Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for what he described as the wisdom of placing the right person in the right position.

Oshoniyi expressed confidence that Balogun would bring her wealth of experience, organisational capacity and commitment to bear on the new responsibility, while wishing her success in the assignment.
“Her appointment is a testament to her pedigree and antecedents. I have always expected nothing short of a higher national responsibility for her, and I am confident she will justify the confidence reposed in her,” he said.
