BASE Congratulates Laurel on Appointment as Oyo Project Performance Monitoring Agency Chairman

The Bimbo Adekanmbi Support for Excellence (BASE) movement has congratulated one of its founding and active members, Hon. Abiodun Oluwaseun Laurel, on his appointment as Chairman of the Oyo State Project Performance Monitoring Agency (OYSPPMA).

BASE, in a statement issued on Friday by the movement’s Director of Media, Akkndele Alabi, described Laurel’s appointment as a recognition of his dedication, commitment and contributions to public service.
Laurel, who previously served as Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Project Delivery, takes over the leadership of the agency from Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, who has since emerged as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

The movement said Laurel’s new responsibility is another opportunity for him to contribute to the administration’s efforts to ensure effective project delivery and monitoring across the state.

According to BASE, Laurel has consistently demonstrated his commitment to his responsibilities and his contributions to the continued success of the Makinde administration through his previous assignments.
“BASE celebrates Hon. Abiodun Oluwaseun Laurel on this well-deserved appointment. His dedication, commitment to duty and contribution to the success of the administration have always been evident,” the movement said.
BASE expressed confidence that Laurel would bring his experience and commitment to bear on his new assignment, while wishing him success in the discharge of his responsibilities as chairman of the agency.
